Know Thyself

The moon having a light side and a dark side.

The earth having a light side and a dark side.

Our personality can be likened to that of the moon and earth.
Each of us has an inseparable light side and a dark side.
And how we come to terms with this in-separateness,
will determine who we become as a person and type of life we live.

Knowing this for me has made all the difference.

Into the light of day and the dark of night I venture,
experiencing both within and without, the warmth and coldness of each.
